mater mea launched an Indiegogo campaign in early 2014 to raise the funds necessary to redesign the site and increase content production. We were blown away by the generosity of our friends, family, and fans, who helped us raise more than $12,000 towards our goal! Thanks to these donations, we were able to update the site and will continue to tell the underrepresented stories of women of color.
