Sojourner Marable Grimmett sure has a way of making politics look fun! The Atlanta-based blogger and mother of two—who serves as director of constituent services and digital engagement strategist for Fulton County chairman John Eaves—balances motherhood with a busy social life and active support of some very important causes. (She’s attended President Barack Obama’s speech on student loan debt and pushed for lactation rooms in Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport.) Her activism makes us want to get involved in our communities, too.
Always wearing a bright smile, Sojourner is a mover and shaker in the world of Georgia politics and community activism. We’ve spotted her at a variety of rallies and charity events.
She’s passionate about bringing awareness to important issues. We get inspired watching her support different causes as well as seeing her rub elbows with political celebrities like Senator Cory Booker.
When she’s not actively supporting a worthy cause, Sojourner’s a great tour guide. She shows off some of the best events, places, and people in Atlanta through her photos.
She’s also a multimedia maven who has blogged for The Huffington Post, appeared on the cover of Atlanta Tastemaker magazine, and has been featured on CNN and Atlanta’s Channel 2 alongside Dr. Oz.
But perhaps what we love most about Sojourner is that she’s an incredibly fun mom.
